How far we go

What local means to us

Our office is at 39032 8th St E, Palmdale, so Palmdale, Lancaster, Littlerock and Rosamond are a short drive and usually get same-week site visits. California City and Victorville are about an hour out, the San Fernando Valley about an hour down the 14, and Bakersfield about two hours over the Tehachapis. For the farther cities we batch site visits, installs and service calls so the drive never becomes your cost, and we tell you at the quote stage what that means for scheduling.

Local is not just distance. Each of these cities has its own building department, its own inspectors and its own utility rules. Palmdale and Victorville use SolarAPP+ for eligible rooftop systems, Lancaster issues instant permits through its own platform, Los Angeles goes through LADBS, and unincorporated addresses fall under Los Angeles, Kern or San Bernardino County. On the utility side, most of our territory is SCE on NEM 3.0 Net Billing, but the city of Los Angeles is LADWP with retail-rate net metering and Bakersfield is PG&E. We pull every permit ourselves and handle every interconnection, so those differences are our problem, not yours.

Every install, in every city, is done by our own licensed crew under CSLB #1028836 (B) and #1105123 (C-10), carries our 25-year warranty and written production guarantee, and comes with a service department you can actually reach at (661) 524-6522, Mon–Sun, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Questions

Service area questions

Where we go, who pulls the permit and what your utility means for your design.

01Which cities does SunCoast Solar serve?

We install solar, battery storage, Generac generators and EV chargers across the Antelope Valley and beyond: Palmdale, Lancaster, Littlerock, Rosamond, California City, Los Angeles (with most work in the San Fernando Valley), Victorville and Bakersfield. If you are near one of those, call us and we will confirm.

02Do you charge extra for homes outside Palmdale?

No. We schedule site visits and installs in farther cities such as Bakersfield and Victorville in batches so the drive does not add cost to your project. We are upfront about timing when we quote.

03Do you pull the permit in my city or county?

Yes, on every job. Depending on your address that means the City of Palmdale, City of Lancaster, LADBS, City of Victorville, City of Bakersfield, City of California City, Los Angeles County, Kern County or San Bernardino County. We also file the utility interconnection with SCE, LADWP or PG&E.

04Which utility am I on, and why does it matter?

Palmdale, Lancaster, Littlerock, Rosamond, California City and Victorville are Southern California Edison on NEM 3.0 Net Billing. The city of Los Angeles is LADWP, which still credits solar at retail rates. Bakersfield is PG&E on its Solar Billing Plan. The utility decides how exported solar is credited, which shapes whether a battery is essential or optional.

05Is there still a federal tax credit in 2026?

Not for homeowner-owned systems placed in service after December 31, 2025. The Section 48E business credit remains through 2027 for commercial systems and third-party-owned residential systems such as leases and PPAs, and SCE and PG&E customers can still apply for California SGIP battery rebates.

Not sure if we cover your address?

Call or send the form and we will tell you straight. If you are near any of the cities above, we can almost certainly help.
