Why brand choice matters
A solar system is a 25-year relationship with its parts
Panels rarely fail, but inverters, batteries and monitoring gateways are electronics, and over 25 years some of them will need service. That is when brand choice shows up in three ways:
- Warranty. A 25-year product warranty only helps if the company is still around to honor it and has a US service process. We favor manufacturers with a track record of paying claims.
- Monitoring. Enphase and SolarEdge both give you an app that shows production by panel. It is how you, and we, know a system is working, and it is how we catch a failed component before it costs you a summer of output.
- Parts availability. Common, widely installed equipment can be replaced quickly. Obscure brands mean waiting on parts while your system sits idle.
Whatever we install, it is covered by our own 25-year warranty and 25-year written production guarantee.

Questions about equipment and financing partners
01Which equipment brand should I pick?
It depends on your roof, shade, budget and whether you plan to add a battery or EV charger. We design with the brand that fits the job and explain the trade-offs in plain terms before you decide.
02Do you install brands that are not on this list?
For new installs we stick to manufacturers we can stand behind on warranty and parts. For repairs, we service most systems regardless of brand, including systems installed by companies that have gone out of business.
03What happens to my warranty if a manufacturer leaves the market?
Manufacturer warranties usually survive a market exit, as LG's did when it stopped making panels in 2022. On top of that, every SunCoast solar install comes with a 25-year warranty and a 25-year written production guarantee from us.
04Who handles a warranty claim, you or the manufacturer?
We do. Call us first. We diagnose the issue, file the claim with the manufacturer and do the replacement work, so you are not on the phone with a support line.
05Does my financing choice limit which equipment I can use?
No. Financing and equipment are separate decisions. Any of our lenders can finance any of the equipment listed here, and we will show you how each option changes the monthly payment.
